The Southlander's Quartet

Thanks for Visiting the Southlander's Website! We recently celebrated our 6th anniversary singing together.  The Southlanders want to say how much we truly appreciate those who have served with the group, those that have supported us, and continue to support us as we do our best to uphold and carry on the great tradition of Southern Gospel Music.  This music has stood the test of time and God still works through the songs He has inspired.  We especially thank those who have been so encouraging to us this year as we have made some personnel changes and additions.  Change is not always easy but we have received positive comments everywhere we have gone and we are thankful to God for His guidance and His blessings on the efforts of the group.  *** PLEASE VISIT THE "ABOUT US" PAGE AS WE REFLECT ON ALL OF THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED FOR THE SOUTHLANDERS QUARTET. *** Mark Your Calendars; The 18th Annual Southern Gospel Quartet Reunion will take place this year on Saturday, September 6th.  We have come "Full Circle" and will once again be holding the concert at the South Middle (Junior High) School  auditorium in Henderson KY (where the SGQR first started) from 3 PM to 7 PM  with our friends, The Vocalystics, The Haire Family, and special guests, The Holder Trio.  We will present some "Homecoming" style singing as well as putting together what are called "Scrap Iron" Quartets/Groups. (basically, we pull names out of hats and make people sing together ... it should be interesting)  There is no charge for this event (a free-will offering will be taken) and refreshments will be available ... Hope to see you all there! *The Southlander's Annual* Christmas Celebration 2008 It might seem early but we have tickets on sale now for our annual Christmas Celebration.  We will once again hold the event at the historic Scottish Rite in downtown Evansville, IN.  The date is Friday, December 12th and the festivities begin at 6:30. You will enjoy a wonderful buffet meal, Door prizes, and of course, some classic Christmas and Gospel music to round out the evening.  We have room for approximately 350 guests with NO RESERVED SEATING (Last year we had a full house) Be sure to order your tickets as early as possible!
